Malaysian activists visit the Palestinian refugee camps and to the Palestinian-Lebanese border
 
A delegation from The Palestinian Association for Human Rights "Witness" accompanied the Malaysian activists, who interested in the Palestinian issue to the Palestinian camps in Beirut particularly Shatilla and Borj Barajneh on Saturday and Sunday, 7 and 8 April, 2012.

The delegation visitor saw by the naked eye, and listen to the inhabitants inside the camps about the suffering of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon at all levels, either the congestion camps, narrow area and dark narrow alleys, or lack of entering the sunlight into homes, as well as poor infrastructure, especially electricity networks that overlap with water pipes which causes a real risk the lives of refugees.

The visiting delegation heard from the delegation of "witness" about the misery and harsh economic life inside the camps, especially when the poverty rate exceeds 70% and the unemployment rate is up to 56%, and the spread of various danger diseases in the light of the denial of civil, social, and economic rights by the Lebanese government and the decline of the services of UNRWA gradually.

The visiting delegation also toured by the accompanied of  "witness" delegation on Sunday 8/4/2012 along the Palestinian-Lebanese border, where they saw the occupied Palestinian territories and what the Israeli settlers were building settlements and the exploitation of agricultural land and natural resources, and change the parameters of the Palestinian territories.

The activists were surprised how the original land  owners  from the Palestinian refugees now a day live in the camps with  misery , poverty and deprivation, and at the same time the  great  accounts from those settlers, strangers occupied  their properties and lands, under, the protection and support of  the international community.
The delegation stressed at the end of the tour on their love for Jerusalem and Palestine and their wishes that the day of return will come swiftly and the refugees come back to their villages and towns.

The visitor delegation has confirmed that they will be messengers to explain the fairness of the Palestinian issue either in their country of Malaysia, which proud not recognize of Israel, or in the countries of the world that they may reach...
