Mrs. Bahia Hariri, President of the Hariri Foundation for
Sustainable Human Development, received at her residence in Saida a delegation
from the Palestinian Foundation for Human Rights witness), which included the
Director of the Foundation, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Hanafi, and Mr. Alaa Moussa from the
Public Relations Department.
The delegation of Shahid reviewed to Mrs. Hariri the most
prominent human rights efforts made by the Foundation in protecting the rights
of Palestinian refugees, especially in the fields of documentation, field
monitoring, and legal follow-up, in addition to awareness and training programs
that enhance awareness of rights within Palestinian camps and communities.
The delegation also gave a presentation on the "Legal
Dignity" project implemented by Shahid in partnership with Norwegian
People's Aid (NPA), which aims to empower the refugee community legally,
facilitate access to rights, and provide specialized legal guidance to the most
vulnerable groups through ongoing workshops and community initiatives.
For her part, Mrs. Hariri praised the active role played by
Shahid in promoting human dignity and defending rights, stressing her support
for all initiatives that contribute to improving living conditions inside the
camps and strengthening the resilience of refugees
