A delegation from the Palestinian
Foundation for Human Rights (witness) visited the Palestinian Ambassador Dr.
Mohammed Al-Asaad in his office at the Palestinian Embassy in Beirut on
Wednesday, in an introductory meeting aimed at introducing the work of the
Foundation and its human rights projects, especially the "Legal
Dignity" project implemented by the Foundation in partnership with the
Norwegian People's Aid Society (NPA).
The delegation (Shahid) included the
Director of the Public Relations Department, Mr. Mohammed Al-Shouli, the
Project Coordinator, Ms. Yousra Khalaf, and the human rights researcher Alaa
Moussa, and the delegation was accompanied by Mr. Khaled Abu Al-Amreen, Project
Coordinator at the Norwegian People's Aid Society.
During the meeting, HE the Ambassador
welcomed the delegation of Shahid, praising the role played by the Foundation
in defending the rights of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, and its follow-up
on legal and human rights issues that affect their lives and dignity.
For its part, the delegation (witness)
thanked the ambassador for the good reception, stressing the importance of
cooperation and integration between human rights institutions and the
Palestinian embassy to serve the Palestinian people and enhance their steadfastness.
