The Palestinian association for human rights "witness"
Calls to support the demands of the Palestinian refugee campaigns
The Palestinian association for human rights "witness" has been following with great interest the popular demands campaigns that are taking place today by the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon against the policy of UNRWA, and calls to support these peaceful demonstrations by all available means.
"Witness" also calls UNRWA to respond quickly to these demands and not delay or invoke with the weak financial capabilities and at the same time to exert all efforts and seek seriously for new funding resources and to rationalize spending and to hold corruption inside its departments.
"Witness" felt during the previous meetings with the department of UNRWA, that they have the ability to maneuver and escape from the obvious facts that have been documented and introduced to the director of UNRWA affairs Mr. Salvatori Lambardo and his deputy Mr. Robert Hurt.
Moreover "Witness" which has been adopting the Palestinian refugees demands, calls all the palestinian political factions and civil social associations to adopt these demands of the refugees especially the right to health, education, suitable housing and other essential needs and to struggle hardly in order to oblige UNRWA to achieve these rights without delay or hesitation.
The Palestinian association for human rights "witness" is an institution that was established in 1998 in order to interest with the human rights of the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon, and has issued several reports about the conditions of the Palestinian human rights in Lebanon, is fully aware of their conditions inside or outside the camps.
