The delegation included Dr. Mahmoud Al-Hanafi, Director of (witness), and Mr. Alaa Moussa, from the Public Relations and Media Department.

During the meeting, the delegation presented the Ambassador with a copy of the (witness) 2025 Annual Report, which examines the humanitarian and human rights situation in Palestine and Lebanon. The delegation emphasized the vital importance of protecting the agency's mandate and ensuring the continuity of its humanitarian services.

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Hanafi underscored the importance of the Russian Federation, as a permanent member of the UN Security Council, playing a more proactive and effective role in supporting international efforts to end the war, protect civilians, uphold the rules of International Humanitarian Law, and support the stability of Lebanon and the broader region.

The meeting also addressed the necessity of advancing a more balanced and just international approach toward the Palestinian cause, and strengthening legal and humanitarian efforts aimed at curbing the ongoing humanitarian deterioration in Gaza and the region.
