(Witness) lectured about the legal situation of Jerusalem in the schools and high schools of the province of kharroub.

At the invitation form ECHRAQ WARTEQAA association in the province of KHARROUB, a team form the Palestinian Association for Human Rights (Witness) presented a lecture, include Mr. Mohammad Al- Sholi, Mr. Mahmoud Dawoud, Mr. Hasan Al- Sayyedah and the human rights research Yusra Khalaf. The lectures focused on the legal status of Jerusalem and the occupied Palestinian territories in four secondary and intermediate schools in the province of kharroub in the villages of Darya, Shheem, and Anout.

The first part included defining the legal status of Jerusalem and the illegitimacy of the Israeli occupation and undermining the chances of living for its people.

The second part included clarify the United States' violation of the international laws of the United Nations General Assembly and the Security Council regarding consider Jerusalem as the united capital of Israel and the transfer of the US Embassy to it.

The third part included avideo of the city of Jerusalem and a panel discussion with students in schools about the most important activities that can be done to support the Palestinian cause, especially Al-Quds Al-Sharif.

These lectures come within the framework of a training program of human rights awareness done by (witness) and develop their capabilities within their communities that commensurate with professional legal standards.

It has become clear that there is an urgent need to spread the culture of human rights, especially with regard to the Palestinian issue.
