A
call to stop the absurd clashes in Ein El Helweh refugee camp
in order to preserve peoples' lives and
properties
The
Palestinian Association for Human Rights is following up with an extreme
concern about what is happening nowadays in Ein El Helwe as the absurd clashes
continue as well (most recently yesterday 21 December, 2016). Results are
obviously revealed: Bloodshed of innocent people, Burning the properties and
destroying it, even the case of intimidation of children in schools and innocent
people in a humiliating way to human dignity.
What was
happening recently and continues to do is an extension to the permanent
disregarding and tampering with the destiny of the camp and its people. It was
an attempt to derail all efforts made previously to protect the camp from
destruction.
The
Palestinian Association for Human Rights calls
everyone to handle up responsibilities and work hard in order to preserve the
camp and its people under these complicated regional circumstances as our
people in Nahr AL Bared and Yarmouk refugee camps had undergone painful
experiences are still ahead.
