(Witness) Condemns the Attack on "Palestine" School and Calls for the Protection of the Educational Process

The Palestinian Association for Human Rights (Witness) strongly condemns the attack on Palestine Intermediate School in Burj Al-Shamali camp on Saturday, March 15, 2025. A group of individuals stormed the school and acted violently against one of the teachers, disrupting classes and terrorizing students.

(Witness) affirms that violating the sanctity of schools in this manner poses a serious threat to the educational environment and negatively impacts both teachers and students.

The organization stresses the importance of resolving disputes through dialogue and legal channels rather than resorting to irresponsible actions.

(Witness) calls on the relevant authorities to:

1_Hold those involved in this attack accountable under the law.

2_Strengthen the role of parents’ committees to enhance communication between the school and families.

3_Promote a culture of dialogue and respect for educational institutions within the camps.

4_Support the role of educational counselors in fostering positive relationships between students and teachers.
