The Honorary Consul of Sierra Leone in Lebanon Meets a Delegation from (Witness) and Receives a Message Regarding Legal and Diplomatic Efforts of His Country

The Honorary Consul of Sierra Leone in Beirut, Mr. Hashem Hashem, received a delegation from the Palestinian Association for Human Rights (Witness) at his office in Beirut. The delegation (Witness) included the Director of the Association, Dr. Hanafi, and the Public Relations and Media Coordinator, Mr. Mohammed Al-Shouli.

The (Witness) delegation presented an overview of the latest humanitarian conditions in Gaza as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression and the imposed blockade on the region. They also discussed the human rights efforts being carried out by (Witness) in alliance with other human rights organizations.

The (Witness) delegation handed a message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Mr. Timothy Musa Kabbah, regarding the efforts of their country at the United Nations Security Council, being a non-permanent member, as well as the diplomatic and human rights efforts that could contribute to stopping war crimes and genocide in Gaza.

This visit comes within the framework of mobilizing diplomatic and human rights stances to hold the occupiers accountable for their crimes in the occupied Palestinian territories."
